Paul Harding

Paul Harding, over the past two decades, has left an indelible mark on the collectibles industry. From sculpting Marvel and Star Wars statues for Gentle Giant Ltd. and Diamond Select to making action figures for Hasbro's Marvel Legends and DC Direct, Paul has been an integral part of what it means to be a collector in the new millennium. He has been lauded for his contribution to DC’s Super Powers and Batman Black & White statues, as well as creating their massive DC Icons and DC Essentials action figure lines. Paul's "Marvel in the 70s" labor-of-love series garnered critical attention and spawned the fan-favorite 20th anniversary line of Marvel Legends. He continues to work on all of these properties, most recently adding NECA's TMNT and GI Joe Classified action figures to his catalogue.

As a Creative Director for over 20 years, I’ve done my share of product and model photography for everything from dental tools to diaper boxes.
As my photography skills evolved, my love of the medium evolved with it and alongside that, my passion for collecting pop culture memorabilia - and specifically collectible figures.
The merging of these two interests was the start of my entry into toy photography. I rapidly acquired a large following across multiple platforms and collector groups and was recognized by toy photo and pop culture groups and sites. In May of 2017, I was featured on CNN in an article about my work. In December of 2018, My recreation of a Star Wars poster won Best Poster and Best in Show in the Visual category of the Official Star Wars Fan Awards.
I do professional promo photography for major toy manufacturers, including being the official photographer for Four Horsemen Studios. My YouTube channel is growing rapidly and features videos on toy photography tips, behind the scenes, and live discussions on all aspects of toy collecting.

A toy industry professional, toy designer and third-generation collector, I’ve been around action figures my whole life.

Toy photography, concept design, digital customs, and diverse representation in pop culture are some of the passions I bring into my art, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have my work shared by companies, studios, and actors.
